If you have not yet heard, New Moon just beat The Dark Knight in terms of the amount grossed on its opening day. What the hell is the world coming to? There has to be some subliminal message in the books and trailers that enthrall the mindless legions of fans to go watch a movie that is actually totally demeaning and against feminist movements. Seriously.

School was rather pointless today. Totally didn’t know that GP lecture/tutorial started at 8 and I wandered around school, wandering where my class was for a while. Did not come away with anything from the Econs lecture, more concerned and restless ’cause of the air-con not working. Yeah…

Don’t know if it’s just me but proper spelling and grammar is actually a very big thing. Most likely because of my serious case of short-term memory loss, which makes me review everything I type or write every few seconds when, and this happens quite often, I lose myself when in the middle of writing something.

Found out something about me today that made me chuckle a little. Text-ing in Singlish is a great way to make a conversation informal and casual yet I find myself correcting my Singlish grammar. Not a student of the Coxford dictionary so I half-base it on the English grammar. Stuff like lagi worse instead of lagi worst.  Still don’t know which one is correct but it just feels… wrong to leave it at that.

I really wanted to post that video of actual bears playing ice hockey but it saddens me so much. Not that the bears are forced into doing cheap theatrics but due to the fact that I know those bears can ice-skate better than I ever will.

Wiki-ing some stuff and I noticed a habit of mine. On opening a page, I zipline towards “Powers and Abilities” of figures, fictional or not. I actually did this when I Wiki Drifted to the Pope.

Ahh. Finally managed to fix some problem with my desktop, which stopped my MW2 for almost the whole of Saturday. In the meantime, this gave me plenty of time to catch up on the books I bought the other day. Done with all the comics, surprised by how much longer Preacher lasts me as compared to others like Marvel Zombies. In terms of price, the former is cheaper yet provides much more lengthwise and not at the expense of quality of course.

There she was, round as a button. Now, I do not automatically insult fat people but seriously who dresses like that. Some tight-fitting shirt with horizontal stripes accompanied by a belt that was not really well places, which actually highlighted her bulge around her middle. Leggings that sooo did not help her less than shapely legs. Still that I could choose to ignore her (huge) presence but she had that irritating nasally voice and the loudness accompanying it. I was not alone with this, total strangers around me started to comment under their breaths as she walked past. Which was kinda new to me with random people conversing about a topic out of nowhere.

Fear has manifested itself in the form of iTunes. Weird I know but, every time I click that ‘Play’ button, my body shudders for a while, hoping that the volume is not too loud. The smart thing, of course, would have been to turn down the volume before switching it on but the soft-ness of the music really puts me off somehow.

I sense much fail in the biometric thingamajig. Tried using my prints many, many times and it still failed to register. The ez-link card thing worked though. Bright side of it is this though, fear of someone cutting of my fingers is somewhat alleviated though sometimes I wonder why someone would want to do it, to sign in my attendance for me…?

On an off-note. I hate that my pimples don’t look like normal pimples, or at the very least, look like the pimples of other people. I know. Random

Didn’t want to break the continuity, and it’s not like I could read ahead. Different case for Preacher though, already know where to find the rest of the volumes.

Ah the lectures again. I can’t believe that after the promos, H1 Chemistry lectures have become so freaking draggy. Chem lectures were supposedly where time pasts the fastest. Now, it seems even longer than Math lectures. Damn.

Kinda trying this out. Drank coffee and downed a can of Red Bull a few minutes ago. Experimenting to see if burning out happens. Going a few rounds in MW2 before feeling my eyelids go heavy and sleep instantly when hitting the pillows. Hmm

I don’t know how but I kind of knocked out my own sense of equilibrium for a while. The feeling’s kinda humbling. The view is tilted to the right, slightly at first, before going full on horizontal. Managed to hit the floor on my side so the damage was little but, damn was it unsettling.

Yeah and I am undergoing massive OP withdrawal right now. I think I kind of took the whole process for granted. Lectures resumed today, very boring lectures. Yeah. Totally no mood to take anything in, partly due to the fact that I have lost my Differentiation Notes and didn’t bring my Econs book today.

Missing the OP mostly because during the few weeks tasked with doing the slides, finished up in the first few days and spent the rest of the time playing Dawn of War on my laptop. Damn

I more or less screwed myself over for my A Levels. Modern Warfare 2 is gonna be my Team Fortress 2 of 2010. Must attempt to practice some degree of self-restraint, probably gonna work out for a while. But without knowing it, lose myself. Overload on the game, before growing bored of it. Yeah. I more or less know how this will play out. The fun part is, knowing when.
